We Print directly onto aluminum beverage cans, eliminating the need for plastic sleeves and labels.

Using a unique electrostatic drop-on-demand technology, we are the only printer in Europe using thermally cured inks with an industry standard Over Print Varnish (OPV)

What do we do?

How it works

 Environment

Our state-of-the-art production   facility in Peterborough has the   capacity to remove 44 million   pieces of single use plastic from   the beverage supply chain.   These plastics are usually burnt   off as part of the aluminium   recycling process – emitting   harmful microplastics and toxins   into the atmosphere.

Cost

With rising material and transport costs associated with plastic sleeves and labels, direct-to-can digital print has the potential to yield real savings.

Unlike UV Inkjet, our prices are not driven by design complexity or number of colours – our prices are set with only fixed uplifts for OPV and base primer colour.

Quality

Prior to print, each can is automatically cleaned and primed. This helps give unrivalled adhesion and resistance to chipping when compared to UV inkjet.

Our ink formulations contain no binding agents or potentially dangerous monomers – just a layer of pigment safely secured with industry standard OPV.

 Leadtimes

Our standard leadtime is 2   weeks from proof approval –   no more waiting around for   labels to apply to cans, with   solution you receive market-   ready cans in a single   consignment. We retain a   number of production slots   for rush jobs – just ask for   availability!
